Let me invite you to a realm that I created a while before the "Cave Of The False God". In "A Merchant's Life", you'll follow a medieval sailor from the busy harbour of his hometown to a distant land. He has to deal with parsimonious coin-counters, a love that he leaves behind, and horrible storms on the ocean.

"A Merchant's Life", in sum, is brighter, a bit romantic at times, and has a thrilling peak at "Storm".

The songs are inspired by the medieval Hanseatic League. Included are:

01 - Through The Portal Of Time - 2:46

Travel back to a medieval age of sailors.

02 - The Cog's Arrival - 3:44

The cog ship was the most frequent ship of the medieval Hanseatic League. Experience, how our protagonist arrives at his harbour, unloads barrels of goods, and watches other ships arriving and leaving.

03 - A Merchant's Life - 4:20

The Kontor was the place of trading. You'll enter one of the offices together with our protagonist, who finds himself surrounded by parsimonious coin-counters and meticulous scribes.

04 - Love Letter - 5:16

Unfortunately, woman were not allowed on a merchant's ship. With a bitter sadness in his heart, our sailor writes a long letter to his beloved wife.

05 - Storm - 6:08

Blackness fills the sky, when our sailor finds himself in the midst of a horrible storm. Some rays of sunlight pierce the dark clouds, but only for the thunderstorm to grow more intense.

06 - Far Away - 4:54

After months of travel, our protagonist arrives in a distant land. Having survived the storm, they celebrate until no one can stand upright on his feet anymore.
